Tim Tebow
Though i don't like him as a football player(just because he's on Florida), i do like him as a man. He is definately a true man of God. He does mission work throughout the off season, and during the season as he travels from city to city for games. He does a lot of out of the country work and i truly believe he is passionate for God. And of course i think this is why he has the talent and success that he has. If it wasn't for him being such a strong believer in Christ i don't think he'd be half the player he is today. And what i like most is that he hasn't given in to the fame and in a year or two the fortune, but he's kept his eye on the REAL prize, not a national championship, not ANOTHER Heisman, or even being a first round draft pick, but Jesus Christ. I just wish he went to Georgia. I think that he is truly a role model for me because he's showed how not to be captured by things of this world, but to be captured by the Lord Jesus Christ. It says in Matthew 6:33, "Seek first the kingdom of God, and all theses things shall be added unto you." And he's showed how to really put that into action. Wow, I never even thought I'd be writing something about TIM TEBOW, but since he is the role model that he is i had to. Just remember to seek FIRST the kingdom of God, then He can add things into your life you never even dreamed about!

Bible Facts
OK, so maybe you don't particularly think the bible is true. Maybe you will after these facts. The Bible has 66 books, 1,189 chapters, and 31,170 verses. It was written by AT LEAST 40 humans ranging in professions from shepards to disciples to kings to servants. And, it was written over a time span of at least 1500 years. The Old testament was written over 1000 years itself. Given that time period and those many men with completely different occupations there has to be a few contradictions, right? Well, for the record there is NO, i repeat, NO contradictions in the Bible. How can this be? Because all of the words are inspired by God himself. If it is inspired by God then it must be true. If you have any questions or think you might know any contradictions comment this one and let me know i'll look it up. Some other interesting facts about it:
The Old Testament has 39 books, 929 chapters, and 23,214 verses. The New Testament has 27 books, 260 chapters, and 7,956 verses. The longest verse is Esther 8:9, shortest is John 11:35. The longest chapter is Psalm 119, the shortest chapter is Psalm 117. Longest book is Psalm with 150 chapters and shorstest book is 2 John with only 1 chapter.

It's Thanksgiving Everyday
I have a huge problem. I struggle with being thankful. Its easy to when Thanksgiving roles around, the teachers making you write a paper on what you are thankful for. most of the time it's always God, family, friends. Well i think Thanksgiving should be everyday and for EVERYTHING. I'm talking to myself as well. We shouldn't just be thankful for the big things for a short time. We should be thankful for just getting to wake up in the morning. God says in His word that tomorrow is not promised so why not be thankful for each day like it was a huge Christmas present! Life is WAY more important than little things you can buy. Because the things you can't see are eternal. Even if we don't have much we need to thank God for everything we DO have. Everyone is blessed, no matter how rich, poor, smart, young, or maybe even how dumb. We are all blessed with the things we Do have. Life, friends, family, everything. Be thankful. It can be hard but we have to show it. Because if you aren't thankful for what you DO have you may not even have that in the future.

Don't Forget to Forgive
I was talking to someone last night and they asked, "How could you forgive me so quick after i did that to you?" Honestly, i didn't have a clue what to say. We just talked about forgiveness in youth group. So it struck me. God sent his only Son to die for our forgiveness. God forgave us before we even committed our sins. That's fast. So i told her God forgives us of our sins which are worse than what you've done to me so why not? And why would i hold a grudge against someone for something small when God forgives us no matter how big the sin. It says we should forgive a person 77x7 times in the bible. Pretty much it is saying forgive them as many times as they do you wrong. It also says that if you cannot forgive people then He will not forgive you. And i know i need to be forgiven so i'm going to forgive. So don't hold grudges and don't forget to forgive because it could cost you a mansion.

Don't worry, Be happy.
I just love how many times the Bible re-emphasizes not to worry. Philippians 4:6-7, Psalm 23, and Matthew 6:33 are a few examples. Just put everything into God's hands and He will take care of it. Praying is the basis of happiness in my life. Every time i start to worry or if i need something, big or small, i call on God's name. Give it all to Him, cast all your worries out and put all your trust and faith in God. He will never let you down. I've struggled with the fact if God is really there and came to find out that during the time i was struggling with that fact i wasn't' giving it all to God. But as soon as i said Lord, here it is, take it over, everything started changing for the better. God is always going to be there. Greater things are yet to come!
